in Mihama This project is a private residence in Mihama, Chiba Prefecture. The site is a reclaimed land where is construed with grid planed streets. Buildings on this neighborhood always look south direction. Their plot and volume of housings are almost same. I thought it valuable for the site if I could insert a new axis at the first floor level under my investigation of this circumstance. I believe this axis diagonally attempt to divide the site and to create a friendly space for the town and a private space inside. |
